Card Using Stampin Up Papers!!

Yes I finally made a card using my new papers, it really hurt to cut them! lol
Hope you like. It is based on a card on Splitcoast Stampers by Alesha Wallis. She had a great design for a medallion using the scallop punch, but you can use other edge punches. Let me know what you think. Was it worth cutting those lovely papers??

Look what came today!!

No it was not the prince I have been waiting for, anyhow Hubby home today!! lol It was my stampin up things, including the scallop punch!!! Look at the lovely papers aren't they yummy, to nice to use!! lol Going to have some fun later with me punch, after housework of course, a little behind on that now as had to take car in to service today and not long got back. Oh I can't wait to make some cards with the papers and use the ink pads. Hoping to get some more soon!

Well better go and do some chores!!

60th Birthday Cards

Here are three cards I made for my Mum. A friend of hers is going to be 60 and Mum asked for a card, so I made three and then she chose one. I was surprised as she chose the one I thought she would not! lol Mums hey they always surprise you! So which one do you think my Mum picked! lol

Forums

Just come off a forum I go onto and there is yet more moaning and complaining! The last week its been one thing after another, it puts you off going on there. I have been a member on a few forums and it always seems to happen. I suppose its the same in real life so should not be surprised, yet I am. Sorry about the moan but it really got to me today! lol

Not made any cards today but did make three yesterday for my Mum to send to a friend for her 60th. I always make a few and then Mum can pick whichever one she wants. I will post them later so you can have a peek.

Have got the BIg Shot now so have been having a play. I have got some nestabilites, circles and scallop circles so been layering them, I love that look, so watch out for lots of circles on my cards! lol I am going to save up for the cricut as that is what I would really like.

I am thinking of putting some blog candy on for when I reach the 500 on the counter, what do you think?

Support Our Soldiers

Just wanted to share the cards I made for the Support Our Soldiers campaign which was started over at the Trimcraft forum, which was started by cuttercat. The images were free from a magazine and the paper was some wrapping paper I have laying around.

Two Cards! LOL

Managed to finish one card and made another. The 3 one is for a relative and I love the colours, the ladybug is for my Daughter's friend, pleased with how it came out. Let me know what you think.

Still here!! Sorry I have not blogged for nearly a week. My daughter has been ill this week and although my card things are in view most of the time, I have not felt too much like making any cards. I have made one for a relative, which I enjoyed making as she will be 3 and I made it pink and yellow, so bright colours, and I love making brightly coloured cards. I will try and post the card up in the next few days, have just got to finish it off.

Received the Stampin Up catalogue and there are some really lovely things in there. I am saving up some money then I am hoping to order a few things. Anyone else ordered from them, just wondered what you thought, let me know.
