I have two Daughters, Katherine 21 and Fiona 19, Love making cards, never feels like a chore, and it is something I am good at ( finally found something)!!
Sorry I have not blogged for a few days, seems like ages. I thought I would make some bookmarks, I have made some before. They are a nice change from cards and quick to do. Also a good way of using up scrap pieces of paper or card. My eldest daughter loves reading so I have made her 3 now, and she still wants more! lol
I do have a card I made, but its for my brother so don't want to spoil it for him!

I am nearly 40 years old.
2. I act like I am 10 year old at times, just being plain silly!

5. I was born at home, my Dad helped deliver me (so he says prob just boiled water, lol)
Tried something different yesterday, decided to play around with sponging using the ink pads and also used a new stamp that I brought on Saturday from the craft fair. My favourite is the blue card as I have had this idea for the ribbon for a while and it was fun seeing how I could do it, so I am really pleased with how it came out. I have not seen any other card like it, with the ribbon attached as it is. Hopefully will have time to make some more today as I really enjoyed making these cards.
I have not made a card for a few days now. Brought plenty of things but just not had the time to sit and plan a card out. I still have family Christmas cards to make so should get on with them.
Yesterday myself, my Daughter and her friend went to Brighton. First we stopped off in Rustington to a small craft fair where I met a lady I met on the Trimcraft site. I brought quite a few stamps while I was there and Fliss showed me any easy way to make your own backing papers, which was very kind of her.
We then went on to Brighton, my Daughter wanted to see what it was like as she was thinking of applying to the uni. I must admit she was not very keen and found it too busy for her liking. Still you never know until you try. We had quite a good day, although alot of walking and if it wasn't for my Daughter's friend's GPS we may still be walking around Brighton!! LOL I did like the area around Sydney Street with all the small shops and markets.
I was really tired when I got home and just wanted to go to sleep, driving really takes it out of me now. We did quite well and only took one wrong turning on the way to Rustington. I won't say how many wrong turns we took in Brighton, lets just say we had a small mystery tour!
Will post again when I have made a card, hopefully today although I have to get the shopping out of the way first!
Here is the card I made for the challenge that Sanisi posted. I had to use two ribbons on the card. I decided to make a gatefold card and used some yummy bright papers. I look forward to seeing your card Sanisi.
